Bedtime Prayer

And now I slumber in my bed
to rest my heart and clear my head -
I pray before my eyes grow weak
for all the dreams I wish to seek -
Though weary, here it is I know
of all the love once lost, can grow
so in the sunlight of the morn
I feel released, as if reborn
