Stars

Forever day is losing light
the weathered pines lose shape and sight
into the starry dome of sky
where moonlight lives and spirits fly -
tonight finds peace from warring minds
in symmetry of stars aligned
and in the air these eyes do stare
beyond the moon without a care -
