The Answer

At last I see it plain and bold
just how it came to be
somehow wishing time to stop
to make it clear to see
these words upon this very page
make it clear and plain
that blindly wanting love to come
has driven me insane -

So now, I go with good intent
to better my own worth
forgetting all those tempting souls
so far from 'down to earth' -
do I go happy and alone
into the dark unsure unknown
to find a light so very bright
that blinds my fear and blinds my fright -
