Falling

Billowing strands of golden hair dance freely in the sun
As freely falling is my love from which I cannot run -
My solid shell has sheltered me in perpetuity
yet something in the way you are sets my spirit free -

And as those strands dance freely in the radiance of the light
I strain to speak of all these dreams with all my worldly might -
So I might win the most revered and most sought after prize
- the loving glance you'd give to me with both your wondrous eyes
