I never thought
a soul could change
a life so suddenly
yet last March
your radient smile
shined bright to set me free -

Some secret which your light kept safe -
a treasure deep within -
did I feel special to behold
the warmth and beauty of your soul -

Some people pass throughout our lives
for reasons we don't know
I'm always greatful for your light
that let my wonder grow -
and safely said, forever friend
I know your wonder never ends
through all you touch with glowing light
by giving joy to all in sight -
